Rent-a-Baba is a social project, which received a small funding from Plovdiv municipality and due to the huge public interest is now expanding to cover the whole country. “Grandma will cook for you” is for you if you want to share your culinary skills with families who don’t have time to prepare home-cooked food, but would certainly like to delight their children with it.

Rent-a-Baba (Rent-a-Grandma) is a brand-new social project, which aims to connect elderly people who have free time and young families who need an extra hand with childcare, cooking and other domestic tasks. An online platform will be created where people in retirement from all over the country can offer their services in 3 categories: 1) childcare 2) cooking homemade food 3) sending own food or art production. Then people who would like to make use of any of these services can get in touch with the respective old person and negotiate bilaterally how much they are willing to pay.
