Rent-a-Baba is a social project, which received a small funding from Plovdiv municipality and due to the huge public interest is now expanding to cover the whole country. “Grandma will send” is for you if you have a garden, make winter produce, offer natural products or make unique items that you wouldn’t mind sending by courier.

Rent-a-Baba (Rent-a-Grandma) is a brand-new social project, which aims to connect elderly people who have free time and young families who need an extra hand with childcare, cooking and other domestic tasks. An online platform will be created where people in retirement from all over the country can offer their services in 3 categories: 1) childcare 2) cooking homemade food 3) sending own food or art production. Then people who would like to make use of any of these services can get in touch with the respective old person and negotiate bilaterally how much they are willing to pay.
